RF Microneedling Treatment is a highly effective treatment method combining microneedling and radiofrequency energy for skin renewal and tightening. It is most commonly applied to the face, chin, and neck, but can also be used on special areas such as acne scars, stretch marks, cellulite, surgical scars, and wound scars.
The RF Microneedling device delivers radiofrequency energy to the skin by using its gold-tipped needles, which penetrate the skin during each shot. This energy is converted into heat beneath the skin, stimulating the synthesis and increase of collagen and elastic fibers. The increase in collagen and elastic fibers provides both skin tightening and plumping, reducing fine wrinkles. Additionally, the multiple needles on the device head create micro-injuries in the skin, triggering a healing response. As the skin heals, improvements in skin tone, reduction in spots, and a decrease in acne scars, stretch marks, and cellulite can be observed. Typically, 2-3 sessions are applied at one-month intervals, and the effect lasts for about a year.
A local anesthetic cream is applied before the procedure. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes with the cream, the treatment begins. This makes the procedure painless in most areas. Pain is rarely felt in bony areas. The application takes about 20 minutes. After the procedure, a cold soothing mask and sunscreen are applied.

Post-procedure redness varies from person to person but generally lasts 2-5 days. It is not recommended to wear makeup during the first 3 days. In necessary cases, tinted sunscreen can be applied. Sun protection is recommended for one week after the procedure.
RF Microneedling treatment is not applied in cases of dermatological involvement of rheumatic diseases, autoimmune connective tissue diseases, the presence of a pacemaker, or during pregnancy. In cases of poor wound healing such as in keloid disease, it may be applied only in very special circumstances. For serious illnesses, the decision is made based on the patient’s condition and the nature of the disease.
